We complete a conflict check and, once cleared, finalize the engagement agreement.

We will send the initial retainer invoice, records request, and instructions for securely uploading records.*
Review Begins
Once the retainer and requested records are received, we will begin our review.
Review Summary
We will provide a Forensic Case Review Summary documenting the materials reviewed and our findings. **
Additional Services
If requested, we provide additional services such as on-site observation of testing, depositions, and expert testimony.
Work Completion
At completion, we will apply all charges to the retainer, then invoice any remaining balance or return any unused retainer funds.
* For matters in which Pyles Forensic Consulting is appointed as a defense expert by the court, the upfront retainer may be waived.
** A Forensic Case Review Report can also be prepared if requested by the client.
